Disneyland Resort California

We were extremely lucky! My daughter was born in the Disneyland off-season and the Frozen-themed attractions were up and running.

We were able to skate at Olaf’s Frozen Ice Rink. The ice was choppy since the don’t have a zamboni. It was pricey but for my daughter’s first experience on the ice, it was good.

The California Adventure Park had Adendale neatly tucked away by. It featured a Frozen Sing-Along, Freeze the Night stage with DJ, Ice Sculpting, Arendale with a snow feature and best of all, Meet and Greet with Olaf.

TIPS:

Start your trip visits to the Parks on Wednesday: The lines are shorter at The parks.

Download the wait time app for your phone. It’s a crowd sourced app and is pretty accurate.

Do the character breakfast at the Plaza Inn: The food is good and you’ll get a lot of special moments and photos with the characters.

Do Disneyland first thing in the morning if you have a Park Hopper pass.  California Adventure is always less crowded.

Stroller rentals are a little pricey but worth it if you don’t want to lug your own on the resort bus.

The ART buses are worth the daily passes. You can get to the resort and back to your hotel quickly. They run every 20 minutes until 30 minutes after the park closes.
